Tasmeem 4 and its new range of specially designed fonts turn InDesign, the Middle Eastern or North African versions into the ultimate Arabic typesetting and design tool.
Operating inside the Middle Eastern Edition of Adobe InDesign CS4*, Tasmeem adds calligraphic variety and typographic accuracy without compromising any InDesign functionality, including Unicode compliance. Text remains searchable and interchangeable.
Users can:
- Choose between a wide variety of font designs and styles: from classical to modern
- Find new creative and typographic possibilities, with integrated design tools
- Design advertisements, front pages, greeting or business cards
- Create sophisticated Arabic literary or academic books
- Highlight prose, shape poetry, design catchwords or form rings
Each font is purchased separately from Tasmeem, so you keep the freedom to buy only the typefaces you need.
A time limited edition of Tasmeem* is automatically installed in the Middle Eastern or North African versions Adobe InDesign CS4. Users of the Adobe InDesign CS3 Middle Eastern or North African versions may download a trial version of Tasmeem**.
*In order for Tasmeem to function, it is necessary to install both a version of InDesign and at least one Tasmeem font.
